Here are some of the steps you can take to combat anxiety:
- Take a deep breath
- Get active
- Sleep well
- challenge an anxious thought.
- Say an encouraging statement
- Definately avoid caffeine
- Avoid mind-altering substances ("weed" and such like)
- Do something to enjoy
- Try to solve a problem
- Take a break
- Pick up a book and read
- Engage in calming practices
- See a therapist
- Accept anxiety.
