Home game Saturdays bring tens of thousands of people into a campus with a fixed number of parking spaces. Book a cab and the parking problem stops being yours.
Game day rates
Flat rates apply for football weekends and school events. That's the difference worth knowing: rideshare pricing multiplies when 80,000 people all want a ride at once. Ours doesn't. Full list on the rates page.
Booking a game weekend
Book as early as you can. Every cab in the region is spoken for on a home Saturday. A week out is not too early for a big game; a couple of days is the minimum.
Arrange the return when you book the outbound. Trying to find a ride at the final whistle, along with everyone else, is the part that goes wrong.
Pick a meeting point away from the stadium. Roads immediately around campus go under traffic control after the game and vehicles can't get close. We'll agree a spot that's a short walk and actually reachable.
Tell us the group size. Shuttle vans keep a party together instead of splitting across two cars and arriving separately.

The Friday before
Most of the campus traditions happen the day before kickoff, and they're free. Times shift from season to season, so check Notre Dame's official game day page before you set out.
Trumpets Under the Dome
The band's trumpet section plays the Alma Mater and the Victory March at the Main Building, typically around 4pm. It started in 1993, the night before the Florida State game, and stuck.
The band's march and pep rally
The marching band forms up on the Main Building steps and processes across campus to the pep rally. Rally location and time vary by season.
Midnight Drummers' Circle
The drumline plays in front of the Main Building at midnight for about three quarters of an hour. Genuinely unlike anything else in college football.
Friday campus tours
Tours covering campus, the Guglielmino Complex and the stadium tunnel run on some Fridays. Availability varies, so book through the university rather than turning up.
The Grotto
A quiet spot below the Basilica, open at all hours. Worth the walk whether or not you're religious, and it's the one place on campus that stays calm on a game weekend.
Tailgating
Lots open several hours before kickoff. If you're planning to drink, that's the whole argument for booking a ride both ways.
